How we’re making a difference for Jewish veterans.
Josh, his father and uncle will always have my gratitude. I cannot possibly describe the depth, breadth and magnitude of the impact Josh and JVN have had on mine, and my families lives. My two young sons and I treasure the Erev Shabbat open house where they can spend time with their adopted uncles and aunts, play with their favorite pups, and enjoy a beautiful pool and home away from home.
During every issue that arises in my life as a father, business owner, and veteran, is a phone call to one of my friends; people I see regularly at the JVN house.
Josh regularly keeps us involved in planning of events and classes so it matters to us... It feels like we all have a personal stake in the success of our community. I have been involved with a number of Lone Soldier organizations, and none have provided the level of love, camaraderie, family and friendship that JVN has. I look forward to watching our children grow up together and bond in the way that Am Yisrael must to survive the onslaught of this coming generation. May we see the Redemption immediately.

As a veteran spouse, there were moments when my husband was away serving in reserve duty where I felt overwhelmed, alone, and unsure of how to manage everything with my children. Finding JVN gave me a sense of support and community during a time when I truly needed it. I attended a JVN hamantaschen baking event with my child, and it was such a special experience. Instead of worrying about dinner, keeping the kids entertained, or feeling alone, we were surrounded by other veteran families who understood what we were going through. Seeing so many families come together and watching my children have so much fun reminded me that we were part of something bigger. I am incredibly grateful to Rachel and the entire JVN family for creating a place where veteran spouses and children feel welcomed, cared for and supported.

Thank you so, so much for letting me stay at the JVN facility this last month.
And I thank you so much for having this place that helps people like me… fellow brothers that have been going through a lot of pain and depression. When I came to Florida, I was in a really tough spot. I was actually running away, trying to find a spot to develop myself. I was really shooting in the dark everywhere I could.
And you provided me a lot of comfort, and I was able to come out of it with a more organized plan, more peace of mind, and a better understanding that there is more to live for. So, thank you so much, brother.

JVN is not just an organization. It truly feels like a family. From the moment my family and I became involved, we never felt like just another member or another name on a list. JVN makes us feel heard, valued, and included by asking for our feedback and making sure the programs they provide are meaningful for veterans and their families. The JVN team consistently checks in with us, asks how they can better support our family, and creates opportunities for my children, my wife, and me to connect with others in the community. Whether it's a family dinner for the kids, a playdate, or a gathering where veteran spouses can come together and support one another, JVN always finds ways to make our family feel cared for. We are incredibly grateful for the Jewish Veterans Network and the support system they have created for our family.

As a veteran, having a place where I can stop, recharge, and feel at home has meant more to me than I can put into words. Several times a week, while traveling between Boca Raton and Miami for work, I stop by the JVN House to work out, take a shower, grab a cup of coffee, and spend a few quiet moments in prayer. It's become a place where I can reset before continuing my day. More than the amenities, it's the welcoming atmosphere and the people that keep me coming back. I'm incredibly grateful to the Jewish Veterans Network for creating a space where veterans are always welcomed and supported.

While fighting through depression and grieving the loss of my brother, this network gave me a safe space where I could just show up and be supported.

Before connecting with JVN, I never had the opportunity to learn about important topics like estate planning and preparing for my family's financial future. The educational programs JVN provides gave me the knowledge and tools I needed to make smarter decisions and better understand how to protect and plan for the future. Through their Zoom classes, I learned strategies that I was able to apply directly to my everyday life, helping me create greater financial security for myself and my family. I'm incredibly grateful to the Jewish Veterans Network for providing resources and education that truly make a lasting impact.

It can sometimes be difficult to attend events and leave my canine companion, Roger, behind. Having JVN create a welcoming and accessible environment and has made such a meaningful difference for me. I’m grateful that I can participate in community events, connect with other veterans, and bring Roger along. Roger gets to socialize with other dogs, and I get to be part of a supportive veteran community.

Finding a community where both my family and I truly felt welcomed wasn't easy. From the first time we attended JVN's Friday family gatherings, we knew we had found something special. My children look forward to every Friday. They love playing with their friends, spending time with Echo, and enjoying the warm, welcoming atmosphere. Through JVN, we were also connected with a wonderful playgroup and affordable childcare resources that have made a real difference for our family. More than anything, JVN has given us a place where we feel like we belong. I'm so grateful for the friendships, support, and sense of community they've brought into our lives.
