JVN is radically different. We don’t only focus on rehabilitation; we invest in the entire ecosystem. By empowering the veteran, we stabilize the family and uplift our people.
Mental & Physical Health Support
We offer access to mental health resources, counselling, support groups, and discounted referrals to licensed professionals to address the unique challenges faced by veterans.
Economic Empowerment
Through job placement services, resume workshops, certification and training programs, and partnerships with veteran-friendly employers, we help veterans re-enter the workforce with dignity and purpose.
Community & Cultural Programming
We host regular Shabbat meals, distribute holiday packages, and organize educational and social events to build a sense of belonging and celebrate Jewish heritage.
Programs & Workshops
We offer courses to help our veterans and their families financial literacy courses covering topics such as budgeting, real estate, and investing.
Family Support
Recognizing that veteran welfare includes family well-being, we run programs specifically designed for spouses and children, including peer support groups and community-building activities.
Business Promotion & Networking
We actively promote veteran-owned businesses and host networking events to foster professional and personal growth within our community.

In 2026 we have already begun two FREE 4-Class Courses on financial literacy for veteran families, helped three vet-owned businesses off the ground, and launched our gemach.

We invite therapists, attorneys, fitness instructors, and specialists to lend their unique expertise. By offering your professional skills, whether through a single consultation or a recurring class, you provide veterans with the specialized care they deserve but often cannot access.
Sustain the Store
Your quality “pre-loved” items create immediate stability for veteran families. We gratefully accept furniture, gently used clothing, and new baby essentials for our Second Hand Store. Every donation helps a family turn a house into a home.

While others focus on basic needs, we invest in the entire ecosystem. Your tax-deductible donation funds individualized care, sponsors community-wide events, and ensures no Jewish veteran has to navigate life alone.
Mentor
Skills are the currency of stability. Our program is a two-way street: we need expert mentors to teach their craft and motivated veterans ready to learn a trade. By sharing your technical “know-how,” you aren’t just giving a veteran a job— you’re giving them a career.
